Welcome to our Senior School. At MMS, we have a unique approach to education. Our classes are designed to include students of different ages, allowing for a diverse learning environment. This setup offers each student the invaluable opportunity to learn from their peers and grow at their own pace, both socially and intellectually.
The Montessori program designed for adolescents aged 12 to 18 recognises and embraces the unique characteristics of this developmental stage. Adolescence is a period marked by significant social growth, critical thinking, self-reflection, and self-exploration as individuals transition from childhood to adulthood, experiencing physical and mental maturation.
During early puberty, adolescents often struggle to concentrate on traditional academic and structured learning methods. Above all, adolescence is akin to an odyssey—an exciting yet challenging journey—where adolescents strive to discover their purpose and role in the world.
Our Senior School is divided into three parts: Cycle 4 (Years 7 and 8), Cycle 5 (Years 9 and 10), and Cycle 6 (Years 11 and 12). In the final years of Secondary School, students have the option to choose between our Montessori Careers Program or the renowned International Baccalaureate program.
We believe in fostering an inclusive and supportive community where students can flourish academically and personally. By providing a multi-age classroom setting and offering specialised programs in the Senior School, we aim to empower our students and prepare them for a successful future.
