Harmony Week is about living in peace, choosing kindness and accepting everyone is different. Ned’s classroom organised for everyone to were orange and made ribbons that had messages of Harmony on them. Yasmin’s class made orange hands and placed them in the school sand pit. Pallavi’s class made food for everyone, that was very delicious. And Oli’s class made bracelets at lunch time with some people. The preparations involved hours of advance cooking of multiple food items, developing designs, and practicing henna applications.

During Harmony Week, our Cycle 3 students discussed the value of cultural diversity, importance of respect, and sense of belonging for everyone. It was a very happy day. There was great energy on the day and the created an exciting, vibrant environment. The success of their efforts was evident in the joyful smiles of everyone in the school community!
