Join us for our upcoming Open Day!

The MMS Open Day is a celebration of our wonderful school and community. It’s an opportunity to experience the Montessori approach to education, walk through and experience a Montessori classroom and to speak with one of experienced teachers. It’s also an opportunity to hear from the students themselves and have some fun with all of the wonderful families who make up our MMS Community.

There will be performances by the children, hot food, cake stalls and home-made lemonade, games to play and so much to learn from guest speakers, teachers and our students.

What you can expect:

  • Student led campus tours at both Caulfield and Brighton – see Open Day program for times at each campus
  • Open classrooms – an opportunity for you visit a Montessori classroom – a first for many of our guests – and learn about the materials and the importance of a prepared environment. Classroom teachers will be available to speak with.
  • Performances by the children – always a highlight of Open Day are the performances the children put on with their music (Jesum) and Italian (Antonella) teachers. Not to be missed!
  • A very special talk on Montessori in the Home given by our former, and much loved , teacher Nirmala Gomaz (Caulfield campus)
  • Hot food, book/toy and lemonade stalls a well as a sausage sizzle
