Clean Up Australia Day

Two of our Year 12 IB students, Zack and Xavier, are studying Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). CAS is one of the three essential elements that every student must complete as part of the Diploma Programme (DP). Studied throughout the Diploma Programme, CAS involves students in a range of activities alongside their academic studies.

Zack and Xavier identified an opportunity that saw our Cycle 3 students visit Hurlingham Park for Clean Up Australia Day. This involved undertaking a planning session with these students and teachers, communicating with the different stakeholders, performing a risk assessment, and coordinating the safe implementation of this activity.

Well done to all involved!
