2022 Open Day at Caulfield Campus

Share This Post

Our 2022 Open Day format is evolving! Many aspects of our previous Open Day format are being integrated into our newly announced Spring Community Fair. This year, our current families and staff will no longer be expected to attend Open Day and our Caulfield and Brighton Campuses will be open on different days.

What our prospective families can expect from the new Open Days:

  • Principal Address: A welcoming, introductory presentation from Daniel that shares insight into all things that make MMS great and the vision for the future;
  • Leadership Tours: Members of our Leadership Team, including our expert, Montessori-trained teachers, will take small groups of prospective families around both campuses;
  • Student Led Tours: Opportunities to meet some MMS students to help answer questions and share their learning experiences with prospective families;
  • Open Classrooms: prospective families can visit a Montessori classroom – a first for many of our guests – and learn about the materials and the importance of a prepared environment.

Whilst some things are changing, many aspects are also staying the same. The MMS Open Day will continue to be a celebration of our wonderful school and community. For our prospective families, it’s an opportunity to experience the Montessori approach to education, walk through and experience a Montessori classroom and to speak with some of our experienced teachers. The focus will be on showcasing curriculum, learning opportunities and facilities to our prospective families in the hopes that they wish to join our vibrant MMS community.
